I have several of the resends sitting at "Pending Validation" for almost an hour whereas some of the resends being returned after showing as valid. Out of the original two, one was sent back, now that MCM1 is back and distributing work, I have completed the resend and sent it back and one of the original returns as well as my resend both show as "Pending Validation"
Examples: MCM1_0003526_4780 One of the originals: 3/31/14 14:31:10 4/1/14 13:05:15 The resend I completed: 4/9/14 18:05:33 4/9/14 23:59:23 Both show as "Pending Validation" with a "No Reply" on the original distribution of work. I would say I have around 6 like this but some of the other resends I completed are showing up as valid. I'm only mentioning something as if this is an issue, it can be caught early on rather than later and then MCM1 needs to be disabled again. |

Since the one you sent in was returned at almost midnight, we shut off the validators and assimilators for stats to be run. My guess is your work unit was not picked up by the transitioner quick enough to be put into ready for validation mode on the server. Or it was and the validator didn't pick it up before being shut down to run stats. Thanks, -Uplinger |

Thanks for the response, I had some that were sent before and after that though and they show as valid. It seems to be hit or miss if they show up as valid or if they remain in the "Pending Validation" state. My last count showed six stuck in that "Pending Validation" state.

The transitioners are back up. As well as the validators and assimilators. It may take a few minutes to clear the backlog that happens when they're off due to the stats running. So, to give a little bit of details, we run 4 transitioners. They split the results evenly based on their result id. So it could have been just unlucky that your results got stuck on one of the transitioners that may have been running slowly. Anyways, please let me know if your results progress as you would expect. I just wanted to make sure that there wasn't an issue which could result in a huge backlog and the storage issue came back. I assume that until it is validated that both results are kept and with some of the MCM1 results being large, that could start to eat up storage space.

Yes you are correct in that could cause things to stay around. Everything seems to be running smoothly right now. My guess is bad luck on those, they didn't get moved before the stats update turned them off.
right now there is a backlog of results waiting to be transitioned, but that looks like it should be caught up within the next hour. The validator backlog is empty, which means it's running faster than the transitioner. So good news on that as well. Thanks, -Uplinger |

the transitioner shows it is fully caught up now and the mcm1 validator is also 100% caught up. Please let me know if you're still seeing an issue. thanks, -Uplinger |

recalling... validated now, just bigger backlog - looks as high load on validator, because of very short WUs (~20mins) and too much results returning by volunteers
