Yes, they are all going to run relatively fast. Should be about 10 minutes on an i7 computer. Also, if you can catch one and suspend that would be good. As we will be testing the check point feature as well in the application.

Thanks,
-Uplinger

Re: New BETA test - July 29, 2014 [ Issues Thread ]

Finished two now.

13 minutes and 20 seconds or so of CPU time in my AMD A8-6500 3.5 GHZ running Linux Mint 64 bit.

Suspending worked fine. Checkpoints are frequent.

I've just received two of the Betas! Really excited for a new project as I'm finishing up 2 years on all active projects.

I won't say what it is, if I find out what it is. I have an idea but I won't say it.

10 days deadline? Seems kinda long for a beta.

Suspend/Resume ~15 units. Checkpoints seem to work OK, ~every minute.
Tasks seem to have quite variable time, 12-30 minutes.

Re: New BETA test - July 29, 2014 [ Issues Thread ]

neezeg,

Opps, you are correct, I copied some settings from our alpha site which we don't care about deadlines as all the machines are under our control. I will update that for the next beta test when that happens.

Also, before anyone asks, yes the validators are turned off on purpose.

Thanks,
-Uplinger
