Project Update, December 9, 2014

Hello!

I have been busy helping finish the end of the FA@H pipeline (much, much analysis) as well as pumping in data that were outside the pipeline as it was being created.

The status page has been updated.

With the exception of Experiments (98-102, 144-148), all experiments are completed up to Experiment 161.

Experiments currently run up to Experiment 172, and there may only be a few more submitted to complete some data sets. It is our hope that we will soon (months?) be asking our collaborators to start testing some compounds.

Thanks for the data,

Dan

Exciting stuff! Thanks for the update and for updating the status page as that has personally been a form of motivation.

Dan, is the bedam implementation still in the cards, phase 2 if you will?

Hello Rob,

Most definitely. The Levy Group and WCG are working together on securing the BEDAM code for BOINC use. I can't comment on when it will be live, but I'm pretty sure that you will know shortly after I know (if not earlier).

Thanks for the interest,

Dan

Swell, had heard of rumors this BEDAM also being run for another science that had previously run with AD VINA, if understanding correctly it using the AD VINA generated results analysis, not Autodock. The potential is the coming of multiple project follow-ons at WCG, not only for FA@H.

Just curious, but does this mean that Experiment 172 and the few more to complete data sets will complete this project? Or just it for this set of experiments with more to follow?

I think the current answer is: "42" wink

Anyway, just started to move my resources towards FAAH to reach my Diamond goal.

Cheers peace

"42" might be a good answer.

The project won't necessarily be over, but there may be a lull in the work units.
