That 100% complete is accurate. You just need to understand what that 100% means. That percentage is base upon the batches loaded to be distributed. So we are at 100% of all batches have been loaded to be distributed. The processing of them is a different matter. What we now know though, there are no additional batches to be processed. So once we are done processing what is loaded that is it. So, that week of data left to be processed still exists, but it is just that the week of data has been put in for distribution.
The other active projects, they don't have what is remaining all loaded into the system for distribution, they add it as needed but always have work available. |

![]() ![]() Of course with the margin of off computed on May 26 by almost 100% "No changes to the estimated completion date. June 4th is still accurate based on the current data. Seippel [May 26, 2015 8:18:55 AM]" it could be earlier too ![]() ![]() (Saw a drop in FA@H production, suggesting the hunters no longer desperate are starting to move off the project, putting crosshairs on the next to finish) |

On the token of gauging the progress without tech wispering, latest received is in the 895600 range, experiment 164. This one and 165/166 are indicated at being at zero % on the progress page.
----------------------------------------Batch ranges per experiment: 164: 895487-898900 165: 898901-908004 166: 908005-908573 Don't know how many tasks each batch is, bit the list is long, the actual tasks numbers suggesting a highest of 2300 or so. If that were true and we process quasi sequential, get 29 million tasks, not counting redundancy. If there were 1000 in a batch, that's still 17 days non-stop at 700K per day. Here's hoping seippel made an estimation mistake, and it would get me to double diamond on account 1 ![]() [Edit 1 times, last edit by Former Member at Jun 5, 2015 2:25:08 PM] |

Hmmm 17 days would be most welcome. I reckon I'll need solid crunching of FAAH for 21 days to get a 10 year badge. I do like a bit of a nail-biter finish.
Let's hope you're better at the black art of guesstimating WU's than Seippel. ![]() P.S. If by some miracle you prove to be correct I may PM you to beg for some numbers for the next Euromillions Lotto Draw. ![]() |

There are still batches outstanding for experiments 162 and 163. I still get batches for exp 162 about once a day for about an hour or 2. They started sending batches for exp 164 before exp 163 was complete. Don't know if these were sent earlier (several months back) as the batch numbers have jumped around quite a bit since January. "Quasi-sequential" is giving them the benefit of the doubt.

The 280 tasks deep cache [feeders don't allow more, and not covering 24 hours] have progressed to receive still of the 895 series to 895920. A few interspersed tasks of older batches 888xxx and a regression to 895100-895300, some repairs, some originals. 657K results validated yesterday. -If- Quasi sequential to the end of Experiment 166, there's be 17 days work [let's will a miracle], though with the comment of Doneske not sure if we've done anything before on 165-166. My hold is the percent on the status page. If that was up to date when the last refresh was done...
The result history of a client is theoretically all contained in job_log_www.worldcommunitygrid.org.txt. Imported into excel it shows my octo having done 38.5K results, which is about the lifetime throughput i.e. if you want to check what passed for a host, this looks to be the file to visit. |

For sake of the fools and horses who keep hoping for an M.[moi aussi], highest/last received 896141. Sums:
----------------------------------------(FinalBatch-Last Batch)*BatchTasksGuess/ResultsDay (908573-896141)*1,000/700,000=17 days work left Yesterday 'only' 587K were validated, but then the average runtime went up from .84 hours to .96 hours [and it is the western weekend ;]. Going from 895600 to 896141 is advancing 541 batches out of the 164-166 experiments. [Edit 1 times, last edit by Former Member at Jun 7, 2015 7:41:47 AM] |
