Hello everyone!
We have recently released the updated version of OET1 version 7.19. We have also resumed sending out work units for the application that are flexible workunits. These work units will be running at lowest priority on the feeder but we should have consistent work being sent out throughout the day. Thanks, -Uplinger |

Many thanks. 99 downloaded so far. Let's get crunching! Lucky you. Hot 23 across at least half a dozen hosts only...Ok, looks like they are slowwwwly coming, by now I got about 60 across a dozen hosts, with some up to 8 or 9 a piece. Let's see how long this lasts, should at least be able to make it to Silver... ![]() Or maybe not, the first one that came back finished in 18min (0.30h)... ![]() Ralf ![]() [Edit 2 times, last edit by TPCBF at Feb 10, 2015 1:43:08 AM] |

Do have any idea of how many wu's there are? The reason I ask is that last time we only got about 0.5 million all of which got slurped up pretty quickly.

From the way the techs were talking about it in the various beta runs, I there were two types of WU's. There were very few 'ridged' ones, that were initially released, and they just started putting out 'flexible' ones. Which I presume the rest of the project falls under. |

I'm seeing some new server messages of the format "Message from server: This computer has finished a daily quota of N tasks". More confusing, N goes up each time the device reports a job completed, which is contrary to what "quota" would usually mean.

I just got 8 which is more than the 7 I had over the previous couple of months.
----------------------------------------Hopefully some real progress if finally starting to happen. Just noticed they were spread across all 3 systems. It does look like better balance. [Edit 1 times, last edit by TimAndHedy at Feb 10, 2015 3:59:10 AM] |

I'm seeing some new server messages of the format "Message from server: This computer has finished a daily quota of N tasks". More confusing, N goes up each time the device reports a job completed, which is contrary to what "quota" would usually mean. It's a limit set on new computers, or in this case on new projects on an old computer. For every valid result your computer returns, the quota is raised until there is no limit. for every error returned, the quota is lowered. It keeps a few systems from trashing thousands of units and clogging up the entire grid. ![]() |
