Open WRT?

Has anyone ever gotten a minimal version to run under Open WRT? The reason I ask this is I have several little wifi devices that have open wrt (minimal space on them though) that we would like to have a burn in process that uses the on board cpu and/or memory to run for at least a few days.

I was thinking if we could use WCG/Boinc to be the burn in engine it would be nice as we would get the chance to do what we wanted and help the community at the same time. If not I have a custom built app that will do the burn in as we are using it right now but I was just thinking it might be nice to aid in the crunching.

Re: Open WRT?

Doubt anything WCG would run on what is presumed to be is some kind of embedded OS. Even if the CPU were x86/x64 code running, the RAM would probably not be sufficient for anything substantial... projects that have truly minimalistic requirements.

Not sure what kind of hardware we're talking about, but there are other BOINC projects that have lower hardware requirements, but not as many as there used to be... Enigma@Home is one that comes to mind, before SIMAP went away it was also a really good option.
