OET Tasks Restarting
I have multiple Android devices using the same profile. They work fine, except for one device. On it, the tasks start running for 5-20 seconds, then reset. This cycle is then repeated. This device ran both OET and FA fine until recently.

I need help locating the reason for the restarts. Anyone?

Suggest a power cycle on the problem device. The restarting suggests e.g. not enough BOINC accessible free space or memory. FAHV and OET are actually rather small resource using projects compared to others at WCG. When such restart happen again after the pwoer cycle, open BOINC and on the menu go to the event log. Copy the log and paste it into a reply.

'Recently' is a little to vague to me... last month, last quarter? What is the Android version on that device (Settings > About Tablet (or phone, whatever).

I am using Android version 4.4.2.

Don't see any restarts in that log, but it's so inundated with debug flag info, it's hard to read. Please go into Preferences and in the BOINC Client Log Flags, untick all, then run the client until you observe such a rapid restart series.

If the problem went away that's fine too... anytime something causes a sudden series of something disturbing in BOINC a boot / power cycle [hold power button few seconds till 'power off' popup appears and hit that, so it really powers off and does not go into standby].

Re: OET Tasks Restarting: Fixed. Thanks for your help Rob.
I uninstalled the Boinc app, reinstalled it and did a power cycle and it appears to be working correctly now.

I had previously done this and saw no improvement.
