Hi !
I didn't find a solution in all these postings here yet, so here's my problem. I had already installed boinc for years on my pc... actually, i installed the boinc-apk on my android mobile, selected wcg as my scientific project, but my wgc log-in account-data is not accepted in the apk.. it always says: " wrong password ", although everything is definitely correct, email, Username and password.. known problem ? any solutions ?? THX for any help..  |

Are you trying to login using your email address as your username? If so, try using "Brainstorm" instead. |

email address, username and password are always needed for logging in... still doesn't work for me...

Seems the Android WCG-only client is often not able to hook up to... WCG. There's a seeming workaround to first attach to another project [hahaha] using your email as registered at your WCG account and password, then add WCG.

Having the same problem. Both on Galaxy S6 phones running android 5.1. tried workaround suggested but WCG still won't recognize my password. Other projects like SETI work on both phones. any thoughts?

Using an account manager like BAM! has worked 100% of the time for me. Perhaps going that route...

Using an account manager like BAM! has worked 100% of the time for me. Perhaps going that route... The tricky part there is getting WCG and BAM to play nice together, in order to get WCG added to your list of projects in the account manager. |
