Constant restart from 0% or last checkpoint

Hello. I notice a few issues with running OET1 and ZIKA on my Android smartphone:

1. When I unplug it to use it for the day, the tasks will always go back to the last checkpoint (even if the app is open in the background) (Sometimes, it restarts the task if the percentage was low enough to begin with, but regardless of that fact it happens everytime, and it floods the logs with "INFO: No state to restore. Start from the beginning.")

2. Tasks that are at 100% will keep crunching for several hours before actually submitting (and this causes some to be too late!)

Log:

Is there a way to prevent this from happening? I've set the disk access time from 180 to 60 seconds to no avail. At least my "Too Late" tasks are confirming everyone else's results wink

Edit:
Motorola Moto G 4th Generation (This phone, but the 16GB model w/o Ads http://amzn.to/2e50WlD)
-2 GB RAM, 16GB internal [w/ 8GB SD card formatted as internal inserted]
- Octa-core processor [with 2 for BOINC @ 100%; almost no heat]
-plenty of space on the phone (~3.5GB internal remains at all times)
-I am rooted using TWRP, but no patches applied to BOINC (I am using the official Berkeley client from the Google Play Store)

Re: Constant restart from 0% or last checkpoint

Is there a way to avoid issue 1: tasks percentage restarting from last checkpoint again and again?
Thanks

Re: Constant restart from 0% or last checkpoint

You pulled a dead threat from 2016 out of the grave. Anyway the on and on suggests you're using the device which will lead to the client unloading. Unticking the option to stop computing when the screen is on might help while you watch the seconds ticking away.

Re: Constant restart from 0% or last checkpoint

Also, I am not sure it is relevant for Android devices, but just in case, don't forget to check "Leave applications in memory while suspended - Yes".

This way work resumes exactly where it was whenever it was suspended.

Note: Le libellé français pour cette option n'est pas très clair : Laisser les applications en mémoire lors de l'élimination !?! crying

Re: Constant restart from 0% or last checkpoint

The option is not available on the Android client. BOINC seems to unload on Android anytime it's paused for more than a brief moment. There's reasoning I suppose... strapped for memory space on these devices an effort to maintain total unobtrusiveness. Now have a big battery pack that lasts at least 24 hours of crunching on 1 thread while using, no more unloading while out and about, nuts of course doing that, the price though was some apps had to go to leave enough core memory free.

Edit: No can do on the 7.4.53 or 7.16.3
