smile Not requesting tasks: don't need

Hello,
I get this in the event log :: "Not requesting tasks: don't need" -- How can this be, I have no world community grid tasks waiting. I get this every time I try to "update" and also if the automating update/fetching runs.

Any ideas ??

Regards
Frik Brits

Re: Not requesting tasks: don't need

This implies one or more other projects have enough tasks loaded to reach the limit you requested in profile.
Minimum is "Connect to network about every x days" and maximum is that plus "cache y extra days of work".
Once those tasks are processed and total work drops below minimum, work will be requested, using "Project Weight" to determine which project(s) to request from.

Paul.

Re: Not requesting tasks: don't need

look at your BOINC Manager screen. On the left side under "COMMANDS", if the first command is "Show All Tasks" then click on it.
