Re: Microbiome Immunity Project Recognition Thread

Not badge worthy, but still a milestone: made it to 3 years for MIP (YooHoo):
Microbiome Immunity Project
Results Returned: 9,830
Total Run Time: 3:000:18:45:50

CJSL
Gotta keep crunching ...

Re: Microbiome Immunity Project Recognition Thread

Just hit 5 years.

I am now crunching this project exclusively. I'm one of the rare ones to acquire type 1 diabetes at 60 years old with no known contributing health factors.
Don't want to hi-jack this thread but just wondering if there are any more doing this project only now?

I was on the opposite end of the spectrum; usually type 1 doesn't hit young infants but I was diagnosed at 9 months. But oh man, at 60? That's rough. Having to learn an entirely different lifestyle and routine is a major achievement; well done on you! Hope things are going well for you. If you have access to one, try to get on a semi-closed loop pump/CGM system. They're a lifesaver haha.

I want to contribute more to MIP but the chips that I would want to crunch on haven't come down in price enough yet haha. EPYC 7302 would be able to crunch on all threads with L3 cache to spare. They should eventually come down in price, but until then I'll just have to dream laughing
