Hello everyone,
We're currently experiencing a serious issue with the network in the data center where our system resides. While this is going on, we are unable to send or receive work units. Support is working on the issue. Our tech team (as always!!!) is hard at work doing what they can on their end, but we'll post updates here as they become available. Yes, when we noticed the network issue causing connection issues to the database, we prevented the end of day stats from running. The BOINC database has not been loaded completely into memory, so the performance of what we saw last night will not be the same. It may take it a bit longer due to everything trying to play catchup at once.

When the BOINC database is fully in memory we will see it start to process results. Validation may need to be kicked in the morning, but we'll get them processed. I see results getting transitioned, but nothing is being marked for validation yet. It will take it a bit to catch up. We should have all results validated by end of day tommorrow for that stats run. BTW, found my client on a 24 hour back off after multiple attempts to clear ready to report. The transfer screen was clear i.e. the result files do go up. The My Contribution pages work, except the Result Status. They time out or are very slow to respond.

An update for the BOINC database. It is fully loaded into memory, however the transitioners are barely making progress against their list of tasks. We have an outage planned for today to fix the speed issue on the BOINC database in 4 hours to help with this. This change was planned in advance of the outage yesterday.
