Re: No new tasks since 04/07

Edit: I was wrong, the end date has been posted (link):
3. The big news: they've reviewed their progress over the life of the project and realized that not only do they have a huge amount of data to analyze, but they've also almost completed all the work on World Community Grid that they set out to do.

So the next round of batches will be the last. We don't have an exact ending date, since it will depend on how quickly the work is processed, but we think that the project's work on World Community Grid will end in late September or early October.

Re: No new tasks since 04/07

Ever since the progress bars changed we have been unable to know how much work is left. Therefore we don't know when Zika will actually finish.

OpenZika will end in late September or early October.

Re: No new tasks since 04/07

Then read up a little on battery life as it will go through a lot of cycles if plugged in and running WUs and also keep an eye on the battery itself. I had a smartphone whose battery life went down and then the battery later started to expand, prompting a replacement of the battery. As this was my primary phone, this was an issue. But I'm also a bit OCD so I was keeping my phone plugged in as close to 24/7 as possible :P
