I just noticed ARP10012440_39_0. Does that mean its old? It just means that it is your Workunit is 31 intervals behind the highest running interval which is 70. Out of interest does the Workunit have a 3.5 day deadline? If yes it is trying to catch up with the main flow of work. ![]() |

There is something going on here, These really old units are turning up frequently. I haven't had one myself but all my recent units have been several iterations behind and with 3,5 day deadlines.

I would suspect that the WCG staff or researchers are reviewing the returned work and have decided to re-run the work unit for some reason known only to them. It is hard for me to believe that a group is 31 iterations behind based on Uplinger's previous post that he watches for that eventuality.

That is what I suggested on the previous page of this thread. If a unit gets more than 2 iterations behind it is supposed to get the hurry up by deadlines of only 3.5 days being set. Therefore there must be another reason.

I looked at the history for this project and WUs completed usually ran between 10k - 13k. So they are now giving us a bunch more WUs to chew on. I wonder if the wind down of some other project is making more room for more ARP

HST has been almost unobtainable and SCC paused some time ago, so more crunching time has been available recently. They have probably taken the opportunity to revisit some old units in addition to producing new ones at the existing rate.
