Re: Work Available

One of the two units stuck in generation 98 has validated and moved on to generation 99.

23 units in generation 135 have completed but not moved on. I presume that they errored out and are stuck.

Mike,

Are you sure about those 23 units? My checker passed them through as moved, and here's what I have in generations.txt for the relevant dates (with some of the spaces removed!...):

From generations.txt as at 2023-01-18 12:42:59 UTC:
| 2022-02-12 01:30:05 | 135 | 1642 | 36 |
| 2022-08-20 15:55:49 | 136 | 16432 | |

From generations.txt as at 2023-01-19 14:42:29 UTC:
| 2022-02-12 01:30:05 | 135 | 1619 | 23 |
| 2022-08-20 15:55:49 | 136 | 16455 | |

From generations.txt as at 2023-01-20 14:13:57 UTC:
| 2022-02-12 01:30:05 | 135 | 1601 | 18 |
| 2022-08-20 15:55:49 | 136 | 16473 | |

Note the 1642->1619 and 16432->16455 on 19th :-)

Have I misunderstood something, or did you get different data, or what? Trying for clarity :-)

Cheers - Al.

Al

Sorry, I seem to have picked up the wrong file this afternoon. Thank you for the correction!

That generation 98 movement was a small step in the right direction.

Re: Work Available

Sunday Report

Only 157 units validated in a week so an average of 22.4 per day of which 2 were extremes & none were accelerated based on their generations.

Assuming that a full generation 182 will be the last, there are 1,694,799 units still outstanding, so my forecast end date would now still be 25 May 2027, however we are still coming out of testing so we should finish well before then.

The definitions of normal, accelerated & extreme have remained generations 142, 132 & 127, respectively.

There are now 34 Extremes and 61 Accelerated units listed as there has been some re-starting, although the numbers in their generations are 1,460 & 4,374 due to 1 from generation moving on.

Re: Work Available

I have an ARP resend and I feel like I won the lottery. it is gen 135, and should finish in 5 hours.

Thanks for the updates. it is nice to see movement, even if tiny. I will say again that if they are only going to run a few WUs they should do the ones that have to catch up.

Re: Work Available

I agree - especially the 3 ultras (those in generations 14, 16 & 17), the other extremes and accelerated.

Re: Work Available

Wow, I just got 5 ARP units to work on. Well, kind of.. having difficulty downloading again. All are generation 135/136, and 0/1 copy.

I haven't seen any ARP WUs, on any of my two dozen or so hosts, in about a month now... sad
Are the ones you get resends?

Re: Work Available

No, all of them are -0 and -1, so new ones. I was quite surprised as it has been at least a month since the last one I received. Perhaps the disk and transfer problems have been solved.
