Re: WU not yet validated

Mine validated, too. The middle one of the validated results in the list below (where ReceivedTime = 2020-04-04) validated at …
$ date -u --date=@1586481166
Fri 10 Apr 01:12:46 UTC 2020
(1586481166 is the Modification Time of the record on the WCG server. See below.)

That's roughly 7½ days after downloading the task on my machine and six days after uploading my result. Again, there was no wingman involved.

I seem to vaguely remember that I clicked "Try Validation" (again) some time before it finally validated,
but only now did I find out that it validated almost a day ago. Maybe my clicking helped a bit?

Sorry, I don't recognise the output. Where does one find it and how does one convert the time, please?

Mike

The mod time is the number of seconds since Jan 1, 1970. It is used by Unix/Linux systems as a time marker similar to how Excel uses Jan. 1, 1900.
Here is a unix timestamp converter.
Cheers

Re: WU not yet validated

In Excel (25569 days * 86400 + modtime) / 86400 giving a number that if formatted as date / time when a task record was last modified.

Where from and how: See Help > API and quite a few forum discussions.

Mike, Sgt.Joe answered your question about the time conversion. rose
If you were using Linux/Unix, you could easily apply the date command. cool

Speaking of Linux and the timestamp that you were seeing (the column ModTime in the table), I'm using a computer program called wcgresults to record my results from WCG (once they're validated) to a logfile.

You saw this table:
ModTime SentTime ReceivedTime Name
1586480495 2020-04-09T02:12:52 2020-04-10T01:01:30 SCC1_0003785_Prdm-C_2979_0

I created it using a computer program called wcglog. Hope that explains enough for you for now. biggrin

PS I know this is a bit off topic, but since you asked here … devilish

Re: WU not yet validated

That explains why I did not recognise the output, because I am only using Windows 7 Pro.
