Linux on Arm Forum

Might be nice if Linux on Arm had it's own forum. There are a lot of different SBCs and Linux distro's for them.

Cheers!

Re: Linux on Arm Forum

I'm waiting since years for WCG science support for Raspbian/Linux on RPi.
Since I am not willing to install Android on my RPi.

I believe OPN1 supports Linux on ARM architecture.

Re: Linux on Arm Forum

I too am glad to see Raspian/RPi's finally have a supported project at WCG. I have 20 of them running here with no errors. The only minor problem is the sole remaining Version2 that only has enough RAM to run 2 of the 4 threads. I should replace it with Version4 but it is in the middle of a 16 x cluster array and I am too lazy disassemble the array to get to it. nerd

Hope there are more projects for them here in the future.

Re: Linux on Arm Forum

Thank you Dataman for your comment.
I did not realise that OPN1 is already available for Raspian devices.
I've just installed and added one of my RPi to WCG.
Cheers,
Yves

You most welcome mate. The Version 4's with 4 GB RAM perform splendidly. Doing OPN1 with an average of ~9 hrs/thread. Not bad for a USFF device for < $75 USD.
