Is there a reason or reasons why the researchers have not given us any indication of the size of the next set of batches? We all do this crunching out of the goodness of our hearts. Maybe they don't exactly. Initially they said the first target would be 50,000 batches but that seems to have finished at about 45,000.
The roll of honour was started as a fun thingfor crunchers and to give a little bit of information. We don't know how many batches will be in the second target or how many targets there will be. Maybe even the scientists don't know. They may be waiting until they have enough promising targets for their next phase. Meanwhile the roll of honour continues and the graph resets each 50,000.
