One interesting bit of info, My Windowz rigs get the newer tasks, Linux gets all the lower tasks.

I haven't got both to compare, but I can suggest a reason.
Are the Linux machines quicker? If so, they might be given re-sends rather than your Windows machines. Re-sends that are already after half the deadline of the original only get half the time to be completed. The rules for classifying machines as 'reliable' and so get re-sends are complicated but the gist of them is that they must regularly return units in under half the allowed time and without errors. Interesting, Yes my Linux rigs are faster clock speeds for the cpu's
----------------------------------------Great info thanks Mike. Edit, I have 3x Windowz rigs with base cpu clock speeds higher. The rigs that are getting the highest iteration are my HP380-G7 servers with a 3.33Ghz dual cpu and 32Gb Ram running Server 2012R2. Not actually noticed it, but only 3 of the last 112 have been over 10000.

Just checked my job log and my distribution of tasks: Count Last part of WU name Looks like all batches go to at least 04xxx and then it falls off.

Ha Ha Ha Ha aha Oneliners are great: ![]() grep -a OPN1 /srv/nfs/*/var/lib/boinc-client/job_log_www.worldcommunitygrid.org.txt | grep -v "BETA" | cut -f9 -d" " | cut -f3 -d"_" | sed -e "s,...$,xxx,g" | sort -n | uniq -c Did a few spot checks, and the 17xxx is OPN1_0000136_17250_0. All the 15xxx and 16xxx are under batch 0001000.
