Weather patterns in Africa

I have found a web site that shows wind patterns in Africa (Al though probably temporarily. I also suspect it is of Winds Aloft.

Re: Weather patterns in Africa

It says 'MSM weather'. If you click on any point you'll get a blob pop up with location and temp in fahrenheit and rain prediction and a link for detailed weather forecast. Winds 'aloft' would show the jetstream wave pattern circling the earth, so think it's printed on the can, weather as you experience it on the ground.

BTW, how does a tropical storm get to be named Beta is one for the ages.

(In the Antilles they'd look and say 'yes, those are the year round trade winds, which is why they have these funny shaped trees all with the top heavily bend to the west.)
