controlling for CPU temp

Hello,
Is there a way to configure BOINC to monitor the temperature of the CPU and stop processing when it get hot? I am using a Dell Inspiron 3471 and as the CPU gets hot, the fan is making a lot of noise. I want to do processing, but I want BOINC to do it in short burst and keep the CPU on a low temperature so the fan doesn't start processing at a high level of noise. Is there a way to change some configuration to deal with it?

Muki
