On my end, the work seems to be very host-dependent.
All my hosts are running windows 10, same version of BOINC, and same profile. However, 3 of my computers get a decent amount of GPU work. They have a quadro P1000, Radeon WX3100, and a GTX 1070. Two of my other computers have gtx 1650's and rarely get work, maybe a few GPU WUs a week if any at all. They were busy full time during the stress test. Another difference is the three computers that get work are not 24/7 machines where as the gtx 1650 computers are close to 24/7. Just my observations, not sure if it means anything at all. |

I seem to get wus for my two laptops which have processor graphics (Intel HD Graphics 530/520) but I get nothing on my desktop GPU (RX 580).

It's much easier to get work when the U.S is sleeping. That tells me that most people do not run their computers 24/7.

I have not seen any GPU WU for a long time.
The settings allow to use the GPU, the allowed task number is "unlimited". But if the PC is requesting new work, I see only: "requesting new tasks for CPU". What can be the reason the PC not requests tasks for GPU ? Einstein is running in parallel and gets work without problems. |

My GT1030 gets all the love. My GTX1660 and GTX1650 haven't had a WU in days. Have you checked results status for gtx1660 and gtx1650? I had the similar feeling at first when I installed gt1030, but turns out other cards were so fast that the task list was always empty :-) |

I have an Nvida Geforce RTX 2060. I can run through those WUs in just over a minute each. The GPU is quite good, just over a year old or so now.
----------------------------------------The problem before also was that even though my system was clear of other GPU projects I would only get about 15 WUs at any one time from WCG. IT is not nearly enough work to last even a few hours. How can I adjust my settings within WCG to get more work when it finally does connect? You can change the work requested to the max of 50 tasks that the project allows.
----------------------------------------But no guarantee that the project has that much work to send you at any one time. Change your Device Profile setting for Open Pandemics sub-project.  A proud member of the OFA (Old Farts Association) |
