Hello
I don’t think the filters are working properly on the results page. If you filter for Pending Validation only, you get both In Progress and Pending Validation. It’s really helpful to see Pending Validation on its own. I hope this can be corrected. Thank you. Mark |

I can confirm this. I think that's the only filter affected.

Falconet - thank you for confirming this.
Admins - may I raise with you another point about the Results filters? If you click on the result name, it takes you to the result, and if you then click on the back button in your browser, the filter is reset. On the old site, this did not happen because the result would be opened automatically in a new tab. I'm not sure whether this change was deliberate or not, but I prefer the approach of the old site. The re-setting of the filter is a bit of a bother, and so I will in future have to right-click (or whatever) to get the result to open in a new tab. It would be easier if it just did this automatically. In the meantime, I would like to take the opportunity to thank you very much for all your efforts on the new site. Cheers, Mark |

There seem to be quite a few aspects of the results page (filters and sorts!) that either don't stick properly or don't sort as expected...
To date, the only way I've found to continuously watch a specific project's results is to set the filters before pressing refresh! Otherwise, it shows exactly the same behaviour that MJH333 has mentioned above for looking at individual results -- I'd already sussed the right-click for that... This applies even if I only have one results page open, so it's not a "confused by multiple similar windows/tabs" issue. If a page is going to refresh itself like that whenever one returns to it, there will be a lot of features that are unlikely to work as the average user might expect! However, perhaps that is not supposed to be happening and can be fixed. Of course, the old site's filter "stuck" because it was in a list selection element, the current selection from which remained selected! I can think of ways of making the filters stick, but it would probably require some quite messy scripting to allow for users (such as myself) who might have more than one results tab open to keep an eye on different projects... And as for the sorting - I have a feeling the sorting is actually being done in the browser rather than having it re-issue a query to the web site to get re-ordered data! If that is the case, there are ways that the scripting could (probably) resolve this; alternatively, one can ask for more results per page and resign oneself to scrolling... I've no doubt a lot of these things will get sorted out during the "snagging" process - if we politely report issues (as has been done in this thread) they'll get noticed.... (I suspect that comments that require caitlilarkin's delicate touch are less likely to impress!) Cheers - Al. |

@knreed
Kevin, Many thanks for sorting the two issues with the filters that I mentioned in this thread. Excellent! I know that you are still working on some other issues to do with the filters. I really appreciate all your efforts. Mark |
