just reported in the Nov 2 maintenance thread that my result xml extracts fail on random record, that is for a while it's 1 result, then an hour later it's another,

Something wrong in overview page I got a blank page, tried with edge and firefox. A few hours ago it worked fine. I suddenly had the same issue with a blank overview page. Shutting down the browser, deleting the WCG cookies, and logging in again, solved the problem. |

Hi,
same problem here. Selecting Menü "My Contribution" -> overview shows an empty page (after short display of the "loading page"). Deleting all WCG cookies solves the problem for a short time (until now deleted the cookies three 3x). Browser is firefox on Linux. Jürgen |

I don't use the overview page very often but decided to try it (Firefox, Linux....) to see if there was anything obvious in the browser's diagnostics. I visited the overview page from the menu on a forum page and it failed as described by CFJH...
----------------------------------------Watching the network traffic didn't show anything unexpected; however, the Console showed the following Errors: Content Security Policy: The page's settings blocked the loading of a resource at data: ("default-src"). [@ react-dom.production.min.js:216:199] TypeError: e is null classForValue Ember value react-calendar-heatmap.umd.js:454 value react-calendar-heatmap.umd.js:606 value react-calendar-heatmap.umd.js:630 value react-calendar-heatmap.umd.js:629 value react-calendar-heatmap.umd.js:639 value react-calendar-heatmap.umd.js:638 value react-calendar-heatmap.umd.js:707 [and more about React...] [@ Calendar.tsx:74:14] Uncaught (in promise) TypeError: e is null [and a repeat of the information from the prior error - no surprise there!] Returning to the WCG home page cleared the fault (and the two TypeError messages), though the message about Content Security Policy persists. Doing the same test on other systems (also Firefox on Linux) don't show the error; however, all of those attempts were from the results pages (result lists, workunit information or results log -- all worked as expected.) The only difference between the two access routes was that on the machine that showed the error I hadn't used anything but the forum during the preceding six hours or so, so it probably had to re-generate the security cookie(s) and reload (or, at least, re-initialize) the .js support files. Don't know whether this might help track things down... Cheers - Al. P.S. Note that I use NoScript, but the only effect that should have on WCG is that the googletagmanager script won't load!... As I see no persistent problems with the WCG site I have no intention of changing that setting for now :-) [Edit - altered the P.S. slightly.] [Edit 1 times, last edit by alanb1951 at Nov 5, 2021 12:41:49 AM] |
