I understand about why the project has no new tasks. That has been reiterated here many times. After the first two attempts, I ignored the erroneous client message
My question was about why I got all that extraneous stuff in my event log. To which you replied, "Of course. If you remove and than add the project again, then it will pull all the non-WU related data, like logo, screensaver, etc all over again. That is what you are seeing and this is one of the reason why the common recommendation is just to ignore the BOINC client message about the URL, as it won't change anything, either way... " The reason may have been obvious to you, but not to a dumbass like me. I can, in fact, read and try to read the relevant posts. But I cannot read all of them. |
