Hello,
There seems to be a discrepancy between 2 pages of the website and the credits displayed; https://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/contributi...amp;validationStatusIds=4 When I downloaded the CSV file, I have 5853 granted credits for validated WU and 19696 claimed credits (including the credit for WU granted) the history page (https://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/contribution/history) shows 28100 "points" earned. External stats websites (boincstats and others) show even different numbers: 4226 total for the last 4 days What am I missing ? |

For one,mentioning what exactly you are looking at.
----------------------------------------Beside that, if you are talking about the "Results" history.CSV file (from the "Results" page"), this file is (almost) real-time. The values on the "Overview-Activity over time" page (and the associated history.csv) is only updated twice a day when the stats run... But I also have a suspicion that there is some fubar in the credit calculation, but unfortunately, due to RL issues as well as WCG barely running without a hitch for a week at a time, I have not been able to confirm that. For one,mentioning what exactly you are looking at. Ralf Well I did give the URL of the pages I'm looking at, haven't I ? Beside that, if you are talking about the "Results" history.CSV file (from the "Results" page"), this file is (almost) real-time. Yes, that's where the URL is pointing to, and I explicitely mentionned the CSV file in my post; When I downloaded the CSV file You just mentioned "a" CSV file, not which one. And to make matters worse, the .CSV file on both the "Results" page and the "Activity over time" download link are both by default called history.csv. But as mentioned, each captures the state of the statistics possibly at a different point in time... And that could be one possible reason for the discrepancy. Also, what I forgot to mention before is that there is always discrepancy between WCG stats and external (BOINC) stats. WCG stats are 7x the amount of points you will see at any BOINC stats site, which has historical reasons. Ralf |
