OPN1 workunits
Over the past week of crunching, the last of our reserve OPN1 workunits were released to volunteers. As mentioned in a previous update, they are not from a new batch nor are they resends. They are older units that were never sent out during their original batch’s deployment. The last of our supply was sent out on Sunday and no more are available until the OPN1 team finalizes new batches. If you have any comments or questions, please leave them in this thread for us to answer. Thank you for your support, patience and understanding. WCG team |

What gives??? it is now 2/27/23 and no work in my queue! Well, the well, for both OPN1/OPNG and MCM1 has been running dry since Friday...Only an indirect acknowledgement by WCG so far (in post by Dr.Jurisica in another forum thread) and hence no ETA when we will receive any work yet... Ralf  |

@TPBCF: MCM was also dry here except for resends, but there's plenty of MCM work available again now. I'm also getting some OPNG on the one device that has GPUs enabled. The OPN1 resends have finished, so we seem to be waiting on ForliLab to come up with new OPN1 work.

@TPBCF: MCM was also dry here except for resends, but there's plenty of MCM work available again now. I'm also getting some OPNG on the one device that has GPUs enabled. The OPN1 resends have finished, so we seem to be waiting on ForliLab to come up with new OPN1 work. For what it's worth (based on tasks I've processed) -- recent work units for OPN1 still seem to be for the same target we've been working on for quite a while now (both here and using OPNG).
There was a brief flurry of work for a new pair of targets for OPNG that ended about a week ago, but no sign of a new target for OPN1. There was some (unanswered) speculation about whether those OPNG units were trial batches for future work... Whilst there might still be work available (occasionally?) for the older target, comments about "waiting for the scientists" are still very relevant regarding the longer-term flow of work :-) Cheers - Al. |

New WUs didn't come in across any of my hosts until early evening Monday (PST), but certainly not what I would call plenty.What also has happened apparently is that finally a more significant amounts of WUs have been validated, that number has pretty much been cut in half, but still is at least 50% above what used to be normal almost 4 weeks ago, when the validator issues started...
