When I looked at “My Contribution” I saw more than 1 year of Runtime and no Device listed.
----------------------------------------I re-installed BOINCfrom WCG and tried again. Same as before ( No User, Tyeam ore Device) so I renamed ProgramFile BOINC to bBOINMC and Installed BOINC from WCG with the same results as bothe times brfore. I Uninstalled BOINC and re named ProgramData file BOINC to dBOINC. With the the two original files RENAMED (bBOINC and dBoinc) I installed BOINC FROME SCRATCH USING 'boinc_7.16.11_windows_x86_64__22_737352_dd264365.exe After selrcting WCG and signing in with my User Name and password every thing is working as expected and is still running.By renaming the new Active to bnBNOINC and the originaL (bBOINC & dBOINC) files back to BOINC I can recreate my problem So my question is How can I recover and have the work assigned to my WC account? Thnk you, yoro42 PS I amvisually Impaire due to Macular Degeneratiom which helped obsured the problem ![]() |

I can see the no device problem. Many had that problem from what I read in the forums. But no user!
----------------------------------------Maybe that needs to be clarified. You are on the forum and posted this and I see a name "yoro42", joined date, number of posts, and badges. You said that "signing in with my User Name and password every thing is working as expected and is still running" I had one device missing, notified support and now it is there. Is it just the one device? [Edit 2 times, last edit by BobbyB at Feb 24, 2023 1:49:30 AM] |

Yes, just one device.
----------------------------------------It would download, process and upload Tasks back to WCG. The properties button Copy ALL produces the following: "Properties of project World Community Grid General URL http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/ User name Team name Resource share 100 Disk usage 138.51 MB Computer ID 8569042 Suspended via GUI no Don't request tasks no Host location default Tasks completed 7,020 Tasks failed 7 Credit User 626,643 total, 4,001.65 average Host 626,643 total, 4,001.65 average Scheduling Scheduling priority -1.00 Don't request tasks for NVIDIA GPU Project preference Last scheduler reply 2/18/2023 2:07:22 PM" I have stopped new work on the current system which is now idle if restoring the problem would help. ![]() |

The properties button Copy ALL produces the following: "Properties of project World Community Grid http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/ User name Team name Computer ID 8569042" That is another way of finding your host-ID, yoro42. ![]() Odd that your username and teamname are missing. ![]() I have stopped new work on the current system which is now idle if restoring the problem would help. That is not necessary, yoro42, since Cyclops stated: "regardless of what results are shown on your Overview page, all of your contributions are properly recognized and sent to their respective projects. Results should be accurate across all pages once we solve this issue." (see e.g. post 682371). |
