System errors update
----------------------------------------WCG assimilators and validators are running at their normal pace, caught up to the work units uploaded by volunteers with no errors, and the last few batches that got stuck were resolved. This seems to be the end of the errors introduced by the filesystem crash that interrupt the workunit-management pipeline by triggering a fatal error in one of the services. We are still looking into the problems that come with our MCM1, OPN1 and OPNG batches, but they do not impact the system at large and will be dealt with in due time. We now have 0 OPN1 batches available, and there are 9,324 OPNG batches and 941 MCM1 batches in the pool. If you have any comments or questions, please leave them in this thread for us to answer. OPN1 still has work flowing I have picked up at least 140 tasks as I have been writing this. Out of curiosity how many SCC batches are there in the pool? I have managed to pick up 5 tasks so far today. Thanks for the update.

Yeah, the OPNG well seems to have dried up totally. Well, I got a heap of OPNGs this morning. More than I've ever had before. Got more OPNG when I checked some machines this morning, also more SCC WUs than I have seen at any one time recently. So let's hope we are actually moving forward and can get all the other, long time pending issues resolved soon... Ralf  |
