There has been a good flow of WU's in the last few days, including many OPNG. Now the downloads are endlessly retrying again.

you have a third of the concurrent crunching power you had a year ago. if you're maxed out now with this user count, that means the project is about done...

I don't understand the delay in correcting the issue causing the WU download problem.

----------------------------------------the old song and dance of the stuck OPNG and OPN1 WUs is back in force... Of course it isn't only OPN*.  Just for fun, I noticed the following entry in the Transfers tab in BOINC Manager two days ago (10-11-2022): Name Progress Size Elapsed Speed Status So, the expected filesize was 102 bytes and the download failed (because of a transient HTTP error) while it received 107 bytes from a 503 Service Unavailable response, you know what I mean, but the percentage showed 100%(!)  - you know what 100% usually means.  (In reality, nothing was received, except the 503 response.  Luckily, sometime later the transfer succeeded.  )Anyway, I thought it was funny.
