Happy Thanksgiving DAJ -- Yep -- at least I got to hit 300K before you pass. I'm still pretty pleased with what my old 2.4 GHz Pentium 4 and real old 800 MHz Pentium 3 have accomplished for the grid. Wow -- hard to believe we booked that many hours on our new project in less than a week! I just took a power hit that knocked both systems down. As I rebooted my old P3, I see that it has a monster work unit. After 55 hours of crunching, it is only at 52%! It only gets to run Human Proteome Folding work units though, since it doesn't meet spec for FightingAIDS@Home.

  It is so sad to see so many new, lonely folks joining the grid and forming teams all by themselves  when they could join MyOnlineTeam today and have everything they could hope for including support, friendship and a good team website that is getting better!Come on in folks -- we welcome all to our international team (to paraphrase the old saying, "The sun never sets on MyOnlineTeam"). Check out our Team Website. Look back in the forums -- we are on almost our 10th Team Thread meaning we have had nearly 5000 posts in our team threads alone! After you have checked us out, you can become a member of MyOnlineTeam here. Remember -- we started out with just our team captain, Dave Autumns and his two daughters on the day the World Community Grid went live. Now we are the third ranking team behind IBM Corporation and Slashdot Users (an organization from outside the grid).
