Hi hchc, you wrote:
For Friday, October 20 - Sunday, October 22: 2. Why were even MCM1 work units unavailable? In other words, WCG was completely down. I have been thinking how you can prove that there were no MCM1-workunits available. However, you can prove the opposite: if someone receives MCM1-workunits during that time, then WCG wasn't completely down, right? So, let's have a look at 21st October, the day between Friday and Sunday. My records of validated workunits show that I received at least 1960 tasks on that day, of which 1853 MCM1 and 15 SCC1. That's not "completely down", isn't it? ![]() Maybe there were dry spells? Let's have a look at it from hour to hour during these three days. My records show: 30 2023-10-21T00 718 2023-10-22T00 Above you see six columns; in fact there are three columns - each of these three columns is divided in two, the left number is the number of tasks that I received during the hour that is shown to the right. So, yes, there were droughts. Adri |

My records show I received the last unit on Oct 18 at 2023-10-18T08:14:29+0000.
----------------------------------------I show no units received on Oct. 19. Oct. 19 Zero units Oct. 20 8 units Oct.21 34 units Oct. 22 216 units Oct. 23 296 units All units were MCM units, I received no SCC units. I would have received more units, but I could not change my allocation for some of my machines because the website was down. I had restricted them to 12, with unlimited SCC, With no more SCC and the website non functional I could not raise the level to keep them fully loaded. Cheers

October 19 was indeed a bad and sad day for workunits, Sgt.Joe, far worse than the 18th. On the 18th it was very hard to keep the queue filled and to keep all cores busy, on the 19th it was even impossible (in my experience).
Sat. Sun. Mon. Tue. Wed. Thu. Not to mention the 15th, as can be seen in the 'table' above: my number of validated workunits hour by hour, sent by the server at that hour. Past October's week has been filled with dry spells. Adri |

If the queues remain full, I can complete about 700 to 1200 units a day on average depending on the length of the units.
----------------------------------------Cheers Edit: With only MCM at the current level it is closer to 350-400. Some off the MCM earlier must have been smaller. Cheers
