I don't have the host IDs for the devices I see in the device list and are not mine just the device names! According to the option -Z of 'wcgstats', you should be able to find the host-IDs using this link: https://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/api/v3/ms/...pageNumber=1&limit=20 Adri |

I don't have the host IDs for the devices I see in the device list and are not mine just the device names! Hover over the device names in the device list and the host ID will show in the URL at the bottom of the window (deviceid?=xxxxxxx). |

Hi Agrfan and thanks for the info.
The host IDs for the other device names I see are 8783186 and 8795226 the number 8795226 is the same as in my client_state.xml file but a wrong device name is displayed or attached to it. Hopfully not another physical device. |

Thanks jgis, I forwarded these host IDs to the tech team. I will let you know if we have any updates about this issue.

Hi Tigerlily, I think this is resolved since 1. of August af least
----------------------------------------the situation is I now have a new host id for my main device the unknow device that was appearing on my device list has kept his host id 8795226. my install date for my device is 08/01/2024 20:18:01 in my log i see this: 01-Aug-2024 20:18:01 [World Community Grid] Project requested delay of 121 seconds 01-Aug-2024 20:18:02 [World Community Grid] Generated new computer cross-project ID: 8d6fc93c887f8763e9fac5e5d7bf5269 01-Aug-2024 20:18:03 [World Community Grid] Computation for task MCM1_0221715_8455_1 finished I suppose this change of crossprject ID is the fix. but how can that happen that any 2 devices use the same hostID. regards [Edit 1 times, last edit by jgis at Sep 4, 2024 10:53:40 AM] |
