Invalid Account Key - Error Message
Running via: https://github.com/BOINC/boinc-client-docker on multiple machines.

Relevant log output:
18-Oct-2024 19:02:41 [World Community Grid] Invalid or missing account key. To fix, remove and add this project .
18-Oct-2024 19:02:41 [World Community Grid] Project requested delay of 3600 seconds

The account key is valid. But it's a new account.

Will this resolve itself in time or do I need to do more to make my machines help out?

Look at line #4:

This a development version of BOINC and may not function properly.

Suggest you use a BOINC version prior to 7.20.2

On my arch machine I'm running the `nvidia` version for GPU access, I assume that's why that message exists, I don't see this message on my raspberry pi and I get the same behavior...

Or the most recent stable Linux x64 version, 8.0.2. https://boinc.berkeley.edu/download_all.php
However, It seems other users with recently created accounts are experiencing the same issue.

Re: Invalid Account Key - Error Message
I'm using the CLI version via SSH since this will be running on machines with no display.

At least, I'd like to run it on my machines...

What I did was follow the instructions exactly as intended (outside of using Docker to streamline setup) and verified the URL & Account Key I provided to the CLI are correct.

I have also tried periodically revoking the project and re-establishing the project via the CLI to no avail.

I suppose I'll just wait to be notified somehow that things are fixed on the server-side or try to re-establish the connection in a couple weeks or so.

Kubuntu 24.10, BOINC 8.0.4, new account as of ~1 week ago.
Have removed and re-added WCG several times.

I think I'll just jump ship to Folding@Home instead

Will have a much bigger positive impact on the world there it seems, and way easier to get up and running.

Just have a 64-bit machine if using an ARM device.
