Oh, and what was the reason why many of your QA servers were bricked during the data center downtime? Hardware failure of the node that was hosting them. |

![]() Great to hear the progress, even with the sad news of a hardware failure. [Edit 1 times, last edit by cliviafreak at Feb 6, 2025 7:02:09 PM] |

Will the MAM client make use of GPU's or will it still only be CPU based?

Will the MAM client make use of GPU's or will it still only be CPU based? According to the latest information on the Operational Status tab at Jurisica Lab's WCG page, the MAM1 application is more or less the same as the MCM1 one (so CPU only at present). The same report [with some very minor changes] appeared in this very thread (on the first page) on 6th February :-) Cheers - Al. [Edit 1 times, last edit by alanb1951 at Feb 20, 2025 12:37:24 AM] |

It was very nice to get an update Feb 6, but as often is the case there is no follow up. MAM is a cause I'd dedicate 2 full time machines to. Is there an estimate as to when it might be up and running? Thanks

Is there an estimate as to when it might be up and running? Thanks If you look at the Operational Status tab on the WCG page at the Jurisica Lab web site there was some mention of MAM project delays in the entry for 5th March. It'll probably make more sense to read it there than for me to quote it out of context :-) Cheers - Al. |

"We apologize for the delays to the start of the MAM project, we did not account for the sword of damocles hanging over every production server and falling with increasing frequency, nor for the reduced capacity of the environment in the new year. Thank you for your patience and understanding, we will be starting MAM shortly, as soon as we are through this issue."
That is the update, thanks for the link. |
