Hi, I have a bunch of Mac pro's some quite old. They happily crunch Cancer markers. One has been given a few African Rainfall projects to crunch, but they end in error after a few hours typically 4 , error is:
<core_client_version>7.16.11</core_client_version> <![CDATA[ <message> process got signal 11</message> <stderr_txt> </stderr_txt> ]]> It's an old client version because that's the latest OS the platform supports (Lion) offending work units have been ARP1_0007436_143_0 ARP1_0005079_143_1 |

Signal 11 is a memory fault - the program trying to access a location which is not allowed. How much memory does your machine have. I suspect you do not have enough memory to adequately run the African Rainfall Project. Maybe limit the number of African Rainfall workunits to one and see if they then finish.
