Since this is an effort for the greater good......Why not make the client code open source? I would like to have a look for myself. Their shouldn't be any secrets.........right?

Programming is one thing. The Science behind proteome folding is another. To bring them together is a difficult task to say the least.
----------------------------------------This is a limited time project which I believe will be completed within a year, provided the membership is sufficient. The program seems to be working now so no need to fix/break something that's not broken. It appears the scientists and programmers have it under control. I can't imagine what would happen if this was open source. Actually this opens up an interesting can of worms and brings to mind various scenarios. What will happen in the near future when anyone can take advantage of grid technology to work on their own personal projects, such as nuclear fission or the like.
