Thread: If the Team 'creator' quits a team, what happens to it? |

I created a team last year. I've just quit from it, leaving 2 other members (only one active recently).
I have no contact with the other people in the team. So what happens to that team? Am I right in saying that my personal account is completely private from those team details and that if one of the other members of the team are assigned as the new team 'owner', they won't have access to my account details? Yes. I understand that anyone can claim team captaincy if it falls vacant.

Thanks for that. It would certainly make sense.
I'm happy for another member to be queen-bee, I'm just a little nervous that they'll somehow get info on my personal account. But I'm sure they won't...  Thanks again I. |

Your account is safe. Team captaincy really only involves being listed as captain and being able to edit the team description. Some captains go a lot further is terms of recruitment and support, but none of that is provided by WCG.
