 Robby we are still neck and neck 259 260 I never thought I'd be about to overtake kevinw of http://kevin.org/ fame currently at No 258 when this project kicked off Still true Dave! But you have gotten the Weird Stats back!  Diana G. , Marcelle we seem agreed that this is a convenient way communicate. As a group the WCG encompasses the Globe, the forum to me joins us (Posters) all. I admit to (over 2 years here) experiencing the full range of my emotions over words posted by "Crunchers" I would never see face to face. I have enjoyed this Team Thread very much; and wonder if we will all meet again someday!  Face to Face!  |

OK maybe I shouldn't do this but this will be the last time I can... today I start my last year of the 30 something’s! Yep, today I turned 39... for real.... no joking... not some 39 for the 4th time.
And you know you're a computer nerd when the very first "happy birthday" greeting comes from an online community and not a human. Way to go Free-DC! You're really on the ball! No big celebrations this weekend though. My son's science fair project has something to do with sleep deprivation!!! So, he's got 3 of his friends coming over tonight to stay up till the weeeeee hours and see how well they do on some math tests. Oh, sounds like a birthday dream come true doesn't it!  Have a great day all. |

Happy Birthday Marcelle. I not only find this is a wonderful day to celebrate Birthdays but also stats! Yay this is exciting!!!
----------------------------------------I upgraded BOINC this mornign and it is flying through the crunchies...I am happy I came home from work tonight to find lots of WU done and to find that if a result does not get sent back from a computer on time, that the wu is sent to another computer and it is crunched first with the others waiting! I am happy to have all this information I never had with UD agent. I like the fact of being on 24/7 so that your computer IS available to take on a 'no result sent' from another computer. I know I am rambling lol gotta wind down from work, but so excited over WCG!!!!! Enjoy the sllep over tonight Marcelle and maybe by 2 AM they will have worn themselves out lol Diana  |

Marcelle happy birthday by the way hold onto the 39 although 40 turns out not so bad after all  We have a new team record today with a massive 118,953 points and another with an amazing 493 Work Units won't need number crunching again and only on one previous occasion have we bested 128 days 6 hours 14 minutes and a whole 11 seconds before ( about a quarter past 6 in the morning on the 9th May!) Talking of 6 o'clock in the morning I know it's a Saturday and it's 5.15am  Those circadian rhythms have a lot to answer forRight some more  I think are called forHave a great day Dave |

Yay! New team records have so inspired me to take a leap of faith and talk to my church about joining WCG. I have to go in Friday and work on the getting the bullitins stuffed and ready for Sun. so I am going to talk to someone about it. We have 2500 + members besides all the church computers so it's a start. I don't need any colorful flyer for this approach lol. Glad I have a chance to talk with someone who could make the difference at church about getting hooked up cruncing and then possibly informing the congregation as a whole. I have spoken to very few individual brothers and sisters, but now...I'm going bigger. I will let you know

Good Monday to all!
It seems that getting People to run "the Program' is very difficult to do. Cheers to Diana G. and all the rest of us that try to promote "crunching". I'm Still "stuck" with the weird Stats. 260/260 I need another Cruncher to convert to this Team! Of course then I'll get smacked up a number to match it again by the next "Hot Rod" Cruncher! ( A good thing!) Robby Oh Yea! High 5 to the Colts and the Bears! |
