any way belated... Great going Binghamton University (around a Million a day  )  Dave Good job Binghamton University!  Just got out the pompoms and giving you a cheer!! lolJust noticed this morning I have broke 300,000 points...300,167 wcg points & on my way to my first 1,000,000. Way coool. Oh yeah, I updated to 5.8.15 the other day and *bravely* increased my work queue to another .5 for 2.5 days ooooo do I have a fever?? hahahaha My brother was showing off a couple days ago when I went to visit him. he has about 8 dual core computers at his house. I was  and spouting off about how he should get with WCG! Was explaining to him and he said "Oh, it's like Folding at Home" I told him to go and look at wcg and get with the program lol and why waste all that cpu power????? Really! His kids got dual core all 3 of them teenagers, and what is their computer doing??? Just sitting there! Come on!  I did tell him let me know if he runs across some computers for me to get my BOINC farm started! So watchout for Christians to overtake Hungary sooner LOLI have to wait to talk to the IT guy, Brandon, at church. Everything in God's timing, even though I just want to barge right in to his office and explain it, gotta go with appointments.... Okay I better stop. Thanks Diana G. it's great to see that enthusiasm, we'll get this message out there. It's a lot like that at Church with the new ones often showing us the way and the way we were right back at the beginning.

One of my old MyOnlineTeam team mates Orca has a great signature on their MSN at the moment it says "Every oak tree started out as a couple of nuts who stood their ground" I like that, it's kind of along the lines of "If you can keep your head when all about you are losing theirs" I have my own little breakthrough meeting tomorrow but I will have to be out of the house at 5am to be there on time (5am ) so I'll bid you all adieuNight all from the UK Don't go switching off  Dave  |

Oh they didn't move the time ahead at WCG? I see my post time shows as 11:06 Pm when it is 12:06 AM. Oh UTC time must be. All is good then... LOL

Thinking about the clocks not changing on here for you Diana G, it looks like a time zone is recorded in each person's forum profile, so for me your post says it was written at 4:09 AM. It may not deal well with daylight savings though, which you switched to on the 11th I believe? We won't switch here until the 25th, so there are lots of different rules --- maybe the WCG uses a different time zone's rules?

Hi giddie I did think that the Grid was using GMT throughout (UTC) but not even this is a given

You are probably right there Dave.
 I always think it's strange, though, when websites let you set a time zone, but then ignore daylight savings in your zone!  It seems to defeat the point somewhat. I guess somewhere along the line a programmer wanted to knock off early for the weekend |
