The correct abreviation for "et cetera" is "etc." You must type really fast and not care too much about spelling - remeambers. No matter how distasteful you might think the times tables are, they are merely a rote exercise is memorization. Repeated often enough or chanted to any tune you find catchy should allow you to do the trick. Once having learned the first twelve I thought is was kind of neat to teach myself the tables through 16. Not that I have ever used them much. The sixteens are hexadecimal which has its uses if you are a programmer, which I am not.
