Have bionic on hold from too many inconclusive's Errors & Pending validation...It's the effert verses gain ... approximatly 3 day's efforts beging the 28th 29th 30th Have the Regular Grid 2 on for the moment & yes I may have sent one of the below in early by clicking the update button & cancelled the last 4 that arn't shown below to switch to the regular grid ...Any & all Responces Appreciated ThankYou US-

It's not as bad as it probably looks at the moment. Hitting the update button has no serious side effects. It isn't recommended because it causes unnecessary communications with the server when there is nothing to update but it won't affect the crunching results or cause an error.
The inconclusives do not have errors. They may turn to valid in which case you'll get points for sure. I think they're also giving points for invalid right now because we're going through some teething problems. Those problems are over and it's just taking a few days for the effects to flush out of the system. Be patient. The pending validation also means you crunched it error free but they're waiting for 2 other results for that work unit. Those could turn to valid any minute or it may take longer. The error is an error, no points, probably crunched with the buggy 5.06 software but that's been updated so you should be 99.9% error free from here on in, The gain will soon be worth the effort. In a few days the points will be rolling in steady. |

I'am running 5.4.9, & from your post enlighened post would probally prefer not to have points for invalid ...in beginning ..just doing the math because it's 5.4.9 Idon't believe I need to reinstall. Grid 2 is 98% so will be running soon & gonna let it just do it's thing ThankYou Again US 01801 |

BOINC 5.4.9 is the stable recommended version right now. You might have noticed a version 5.5 at the BOINC website but that's an alpha test version, not recommended for regular users, just testers.
Yes, just let it do it's thing for a week and you'll see a huge difference. It starts out a bit slow but once it gets going she's a beauty |
