how sweet would it be to have a beast like this under the hood *drool*:
linkie Although performance improvements of this in some (most?) real life applications seems to be rather limited... I believe it would truly be a crunching heaven (under BOINC at least) |

It would certainly improve Photoshop, 3D Studio Max and gaming performance. That's enough for me

Yeah I agree... would also get me such a toy... if I only had 1000$ spare change hanging around

Major technical difficulties my end. Desktop and router are DOWN. Too slow on dial up with lappy that won't stay on long for heat issues. HOping to be back after the weekend after a friend comes over and looks at it.
