Then if you really want to push the boat out sign up with Yahoo and submit there

The last thing to do would be add your URL to http://www.dmoz.org/ and you'll be home and dry and appearing on 90+% of the world search engines as they all drive the contents of each other

You'll need a bit of patience as with everything advertising it will take 3 months to get properly noticed

Just make sure you have great content (i.e. the site talks about what it is) and great tags in your meta description and keywords.

It also helps to post to specific searches for your kind of site it might help to post that subliminal message on a forum such as Tom's Hardware for example

p.s. it's my fault this forum contents isn't listed on Google (It was in the early days!!) it's just nice to talk to the world privately
