Whoo Hoo. Sorry thats all I can give this morning as I stare at the screen through blury eyes as I drag my weary bones off to work. I'll update the site later unless Jonathon wants a give it a shot.

PS: What is babelfish? Delicious? I just noticed this whilst rereading the thread. A babelfish is an amazing creature. It sits in a persons ear and automatically translates any language into any other language. You can read all about the babelfish in the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, an improbable trilogy in five parts written and copyrighted by Douglas Adams who sadly is no longer with us. The computer version of babelfish can be found here, although this has a limited number of languages which can be translated - it doesn't even have Klingon, unlike Google where you can search in Klingon! |

The Forum Bug
----------------------------------------I started my computing, when I was just a kid I bought my first computer, for about 300 quid There was no graphic interface; I did my stuff in DOS To code a fancy C:\ prompt, was something that was boss What You See Is What You Get, was many moons away I envied those with Macintosh, with graphics, they could play I had to be a part it; my DOS screen looked so bland Time to get the wallet out and spend another Grand Microsoft Windows Version 3, just seemed the way to go I struggled with the install, cause I was not a pro I thought, I had it working and I was really flying Till I clicked on an Icon and it would keep on dying I overcame these obstacles, frustrating as they were Now all the problems that I had, just seem to be a blur Getting a new modem; just seemed the order of the day To go and do some surfing and find some games to play While browsing all the news feeds and checking out this site I came across this project that, I thought was a delight Donate your PC idle time, to help the human race Download this little program to help pick up the pace Doing something that was noble, appealed to my desire I went and joined MyOnlineTeam to set the world on fire I met some special people there, from every walk of life They seem to always be there, to help me with my strife I meet them in the forums, almost on a daily basis I think you really know the rest, as now it's my oasis The point that I am making, is, if you want to be a part Come and Join MyOnlineTeam cause they are full of heart Regards [Edit 6 times, last edit by Former Member at Jan 24, 2005 7:56:33 PM] |

I envied those with Mackintosh, with graphics That Scottish architect/designer/painter was pretty good with graphics (Charles Rennie Mackintosh). Maybe if he was still alive today he would be able to use an Apple Macintosh to do some designing ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() BTW nice poem. You have too much spare time! |
