INSTALLDIR: how can I use an environment variable?

I need to install the Agent creating automatically an Installation directory related to the User environment variable called USERNAME.

I need to include the %USERNAME% in the directory name (for example c:\appl\%username%) and have created c:/appl/fabio if the logged user is Fabio

is it possible?

If yes, what sintax I may use in the .msi or .mst file in order to ahve the environment variable interpreted correctly? sad
