Now I understand. I did not realise that you cannot see some pics. Guess some servers only allow access from certain countries and or IP zone definitions. I Will repair that shortly. |

RobSab should use his on website to host pictures Sorry stares, not with you. Is the thread causing a problem? Firstly let me apologise if I have caused offense. That was never my intention. The comment was simply aimed at the fact that the picture shown had the text on it "I should host my own images". This is because as mousie says is because the picture which you tried to post actually points to http://attrition.org/~jericho/pix/cats/speedbump/01-10-09.bump_box01.jpg which shows the text above. I have no issues at all with the thread or your contribution to it or the board as a whole. Maybe I should have put more text around my flippant comment so that it was easier to understand what I intended people to see. RobSab, I really do apologise if I have caused any offense. Hey - no offence.
I was just trying to understand the issue. My concern was that I was doing something that was creating a problem or was cumbersome to other users. I understand the issue now. I do intend to make the pics smaller and host them somewhere for ease of access (short urls, small sizes) and not link directly to sites. I will just have to be very carefull not to infringe on any copyright issues by doing this....  Will think it through, unless someone has experience with this and can advise on the legal implications. |

smaller and host them somewhere for ease of access (short urls, small sizes) If you need somewhere to host them, let me know and you can put something on my domain. You can then use tunyurl to reduce the url length. |
