You had too much of the good as we say here
----------------------------------------The quad client ran these shorties in a mix with HFCC and HCC and Beta's and the DCF has nicely decended on a save 24/03/2010 11:49:45 World Community Grid [dcf] DCF: 1.586829->1.515033, raw_ratio 0.868871, adj_ratio 0.547552 With that, these ts's had an original TTC of 53 hours... they will I think be 44-46 hours. Not sure if the A feeder and B/C feeders use a different computed fpops reference, but spock logically they would as else the rampancy will continue [it will anyhow]... hence why I've now settled on a 1.00 cache. [ot]I'm in the game for 7 badge upgrades (incl.Beta), each needing less than 50 CPU days, some as little as 10. As with my previous run at getting as many as possible in 1 day [succeeded to do 3 in 48 hours last time], will let things freewheel more or less till close-up and than make the big-hand move. It will be a kaleidoscopic change, after which cruncher-rehab is scheduled. ![]()

I've been going crazy juggling HFCC, overestimated popcorn, Beta HCC, and now for the grand finale- ts-ps! OMG! Time to cache out!

[really ot]
----------------------------------------Never expected it and has never happened before but I have to confess. I run a 0.1 day cache, 4 projects +beta on everything. I saw what was happening yesterday morning, switched everything to DDD2, Beta and a .5 day cache. Then, a lot of ![]() Only two complaints- HCC was to go green this update now I'm not sure. Also, playing heck with my schedule to go 4 greens->blue all at once. hopefully I'll have time to figure out the HCC bits by the time it gets close. I really want to do this without playing caching games, stockpiling w/u's on machines and letting them all go at once. that would take the fun out of it ![]() [/really ot] ![]() |

Well, we did release about 150 type A batches on the world yesterday :) Enjoy :) So with "replication: 2" 300 WUs should be around ? |

Yes, I think Uplinger most of the times mentions just the base number and then whatever quorum is the multiplier to arrive at the rough total in circulation.
----------------------------------------Type A "batches" could also mean 150 x 25 (since those are subgroups), times 2 i.e. 7,500 WU's. Quite a few are getting these so tend to think it's latter or close to that.

Just saw that pick few ones yesterday.
----------------------------------------For sure I don't have the powerful army and luck that I can just imagine to have when I saw people like UL1, which very quickly conquested your emerald badge in this project... Congrats UL1, nice luck and great job ! ![]() ![]() ![]()

After poking <rsc_fpops_est> and reset dcf in client_state.xml, i was able to get some A's.

*sigh*
Seeing all these people with badges and not able to get a single workunit since the beginning of the project is quite depressing. Does anyone know if HPF2 takes precedence over getting a DDDT2 workunit? Is there somewhere I can see the precedence list? Maybe I just missed it. Thanks, Faldor |
