I suspect that computers that were slower but returned good work are now being identified as reliable due to the short HCMD2 + short HCC1 workunits.
The short workunits from those projects brings down the average turnaround time so more computers will qualify. The reliable mechanism adapts the deadline based on the performance of the computer and the estimate of how long it will take to complete the workunit. The range is anywhere from 40% of the original deadline up to 100% of the original deadline. |
