Re: Computing for Sustainable Water project nearing completion

These "mass excess to requirement user aborts" so far seem to be debit to the continued absence of "argg, no more work". My Dash has now been showing zero available for the 2nd day now. The feeder disagrees :O))))))

Crunch On (while you can ;-).

Lucky you. For all other people dashboard link is 404 http://bit.ly/WCGDSH

does anyone receive C4SW tasks at the moment?

Re: Computing for Sustainable Water project nearing completion

We are out of regular work for CFSW. There are currently 780,000 workunits 'in progress' that remain until we finish the project. However, there will only be 'resends' from this point forward to complete those workunits.

Re: Computing for Sustainable Water project nearing completion

thanks for info!

so we "officially" have to wait 10 days for returned tasks, then 4 days for returned resends, and then maybe 4 more days for returned resends from not very reliable computers.I believe Sekerob can do a better prediction :)

Since WAIT is the most important word in kevin's announcement, I don't think we need any further predictions. Crunch what is in your cache and then we will be done.

Lucky for me? The FTP upload program has been unloaded here. Photobucket momentarily gives a new file name hash suffix to any file uploaded. Since I make the dash, I can see the hash [rhymes], but you can't possibly guess. So here is the one of this moment: http://i137.photobucket.com/albums/q210/Sekerob/WCGDashboard_zps6ac9ed97.png

The zero days remaining (of new work distribution) is locked in. Per comments by techs, it can take up to 3 weeks to fully cycle out all the residuals, unless the techs themselves are feeling pressure to force out extra wingman ahead, which will inevitably lead to others seeing server aborts, due completed quorum. So, either return in time, or double jeopardize, whether the retards are crunched or not. Crunch them and return late, risk "too late, no credit". I've seen a few wingman that were not even 24 hours late getting this assessment. No time, no points credit.

edit: order of 2 words. :D

Re: Computing for Sustainable Water project nearing completion

I'm still unsure how much c4sw time is in my cache ... may be 2 days to much. Right now I'm 12 days 1 hour away from sapphire and there are 33 pages of work in progress. So I enlargend the caches again to 7 days to fetch some work from other projects and then I suspended some c4sw tasks. I should get the sapphire badge on friday at high noon. May be there are around 200 ... may be 300 WUs I can release back to the pool. Well, this "race" is getting close.

Re: Computing for Sustainable Water project nearing completion

I'm doomed,
But I got the hoovers set on near full.
Getting a few freak out high priority on 1 or 2 machines.
Still getting odd repair job which is nice,
but eventually that will freak em out even more...
wonder why it still sends em.

I think I have enough to get my team to 10 years but not certain of getting myself to 8 years. Cache is 461 and crunching.
